True, but I certainly wouldn't wash my dishes with my ionizer... as it does not produce enough acid water fast enough to handle the high water demand of dish washing. Maybe for a quick rinse though (to kill those little beasties).
I think the idea is that you continuously collect the acid water in a container placed in the sink and then use it at your leisure. If strong enough it is a good general antiseptic that can even cure athletes foot (some japanese hospitals use ionizers extensively and regard the acid water as just as valuable). Don't forget - even though our body wants to be alkaline inside, the skin is most definitely acidic.
Apparently, the acid "waste" water is good for general cleaning like washing dishes and your skin. Also good for your your sprouts and house plants.
