They did this sometimes. And honestly, this song DEFINITELY is a one-person song, at least in my opinion. You'll notice that it was re-recorded several times, each using only one person. Nacchi is a very good singer (but I think not one of the VERY best in Morning Musume), and this version is terrific... but why bother releasing it as a Morning Musume single? I'm not sure.

One of my favourite songs, though. I love all the versions, including this one. Tsuji's, well... maybe the least.

i know that the other members sang as well but it was more the harmonies that you hear in the recording that you hear while everyone is singing usually. i never said anything about it being funny but more that i find it interesting that i prefer a cover version of a song over the original but that both are very amazingly well sung and sounding. and no, i am not kidding you.

i love Nacchi but i prefer Tsuji's version of this. i don't really know why but Tsuji's koe sounds better than Nacchi's does just for this song which is funny since this song was written for Nacchi. oh well. I still love this one!

The song was probably a solo for her. A lot of Morning Musume songs do that... they pick a song for a certain member and let them be the leader of the song. that's why subgroups like MiniMoni have 'leaders'

Actually, that "memorial" is not a tombstone or anything.

It's just a huge stone with some slogans written on it.

It says

"Be upright (tadashiku), friendly (nakayoku), and strong (tsuyoku)"

In Japan, it is common to have that kind of thing in a school.

I guess in the video, Kaori visits her old school, recalling her memories of childhood.
