From my own POV, capoeira, per strike, is physically more demanding than most other well known MA's, meaning that same effectiveness can be reached with lesser physical effort. But boy, is it cool in its own way! And it's good for being in shape. If you have the physique to handle a 30 minute luta, that stamina can go a very long way when you switch into muai thai mode.

I did try capoeira (I was in good shape) and, trust me, it makes you discoveer muscles you didn't know you had.

This is not aggressive and they are not high ranked capoeristas! The first part was a confusing attempt at benguela (they couldn't commit to a style). The são bento game was unnecessarily fast (they were not playing to the rhythm) and there was no control in the movements (I didn't see one person land in ginga position/esquiva after completing a kick). Overall I think it's a sad attempt to look like ABADÁ. From the logo, to singing several of our songs... just sad.
