It would be faster if you increased your burn speed under project settings > burning. 8-16x is a safe speed to write as. Good luck!

when you chose the file you want to burn on the right side go to

edit title->audio tracks-->edit-->ignore audio delay

after u do that there should be no audio/video sync problems

Ok. Here is my next question about dvd flick and I'm gonna post it on every vid til I get an answer. I spent over 6 hours converting a tv series to a dvd. the program and computer worked perfect until it was time to burn to disc, I assume it was the faulty crap memorex disc I used but an errors I didnt understand occurred and the last few episodes wont play. My question is, is there anyway to burn to another disc without going thru the entire process again?...

continued. I mean between dvd flick and converting and compressing all 23 episodes with alltoavi I'm looking at 50-60hours to get this done so starting over because of a glitch really, REALLY SUX! I went to the folder that dvd flick made and its all there. All the episodes play fine from the converted files within that folder. That's y I think its a faulty disc. I just dont wanna have to start from the beginning if it happens again. Anybody know???

why is it that after i burn the movie into CD, sometimes the VOICE starts first then the MOUTH moves later i think 1 sec after the voice, if this happen then, the subtitles will be out of sync already, in w/c during my editing, everything was OK... why is that?? is it there's a problem during converting? or is it in the CLIPS fault?? thanks for reply...

@WickedEdges The dvd format doesnt really matter. There are options to change the disk type. But make sure you have the right dvd format so that your dvd player can play them!

That happened to me too.. So i played around a bit and found it.

Go to "Edit Title" and click on "Audio Tracks" and click "Edit" and then you see a window pop up. CHECK MARK the box that says "Ignore Audio Delay For This Track" and Click "accept" and THERE YOU GO. It worked for me =) Try it.

i wouldnt recomment dvd flick. First of all its the slowest dvd burning software. Second, it takes up alot of CPU ussage which can make your computer very very slow while burning something. So if your burning a movie your computer may be very slow. Id reccomend Xilisoft AVI to DVD Converter, its a bit faster and wont slow down computer while burning

For some programs, when you burn the .avi to a DVD, the video lags when it's in the DVD player. Does this program make the movie lag when it plays in the DVD player, or does it play smoothly like a normal DVD?

It lags with this burning program like about every 10 minutes in video but the main cause of DVD+/-R lagging is caused by the incorrect speed when you burn the DVD+/-R. Most DVD players can take DVD+Rs after being burned at most up to 4x.  Other causes of lagging is because the DVD is worn out or was burned by a bad program like this one. Also, this program takes much longer to process than other programs and then you still get the out of sync result with audio/video by over 2 seconds.
