@sludgefingers Yeah, God bless those Poppetts. I think they were the thing to buy because they were cheap and seemed to be a lot in the box, so you felt money well spent.
@Nulanula :-) I'm afraid at 9d (iirc) I found them a tad expensive (it were grim up North). However, the extra outlay was to an extent offset by the fact that the packaging chosen by Paynes was particularly manageable in the cinema context. Well done them for spotting that niche.
British society, by the very fact of its intense and distinct stratification, is actually EASIER to navigate between levels than our more amorphous and uncertain cultural "quicksand". Just an observation.
