thank you foe your comment's Brut was down to 37 lb took him to ABC Veterinary Hospital to have him checked for lose stools & some blood in same the vet said that he was fine than they gave him a rabies buster shot in 20 days I had to put him down because he was suffering and could not drink or eat anymore from the rabies shot we all love him and miss him very much JP

Yea that cat is too big, poor guy.

I know you love him but you're feeding him to death. My grandmother did that with her cat & he was 20lbs.

This is just ridiculous, I know some cats are naturally big, my cat was 14lbs & that was even on weight control food. He got 1 cup a day & that's it.

I mean 40lbs &1 1/2 cups food plus tuna is too much. If you love him you're going to have to put him on a diet before its too late.

Not having a proper diet can lead to diabetes. It's a royal pain in the arse too. It's what happened to mine. He was BIG.

@thunderstruck665 thank you for your concern brut has ben on a diet for 2 years but you can't stop him from eating clover and other plants out doors so far we have shed a few lb's and he seems to be stable at his weight thanks again for you comments. JP

That cat is sooo fat - what do you feed him other than cat food? Maybe you should just put a cup at a time in the bowl... Reminds me of our neighbors dog that was mega fat as well. Took him to the vet and they told the neighbors that he had to go on a diet - then they asked the vet if that meant the dog couldnt have his nightly bowl of ice cream?

You should check out RichardNorton's cat wheel. He built it for his cats, who have a large outdoor cage. They enjoy running on it.

Do you pick him up? It must feel just like a big baby. Mine weighs 12 lbs and only eats crunchies. he cannot pass the food dish without getting some.

omg this is like a mixture between my two cats!!!!!! My one cat is fat and siamese but my other cat has like the same exact face as this one and he's siamese too!!!! wow holy crap!!!

brutes is a tonkomese he only eats 1.5 cups of dry food a day + a littlt tuna he also gets his drink at he sink a night while i am brushing my teeh thank you for the coments

1.5 cups is a lot of food for a cat! what does your vet say about his size?? how old is he and is he active at all? I'd be really worried about his health...
