  • =D I remember hearing all of these songs seperately in The King of Fighters '97. It's great to hear a remix mashing them all into one song!

  • As i listened to this theme carefully, there is no Fanatic Waltz sampled in this theme. Only Mad Fantasy and Rhythmic Hallucination are used in this theme.

Still, this is better than the 2002 version. This is one of the KOF 2002 UM themes I liked other than Rugal's, Nameless', Foxy's and Igniz's.

  • There exists software for downloading mp3s straight from YouTube.

As for a direct link, I found it on a forum, but I can't remember where specifically. A search should get it easily.

  • This and KOF 98 UM, are the 2 most complete KOF's ever, and are a great tribute to the series.

  • But I liked how Rhythmic Hallucination sounded in 2002 :(

Anyway, I was listening to it and thinking "How are they gonna top Mad Fantasy in this one?

And then Rhythmic Hallucination kicked in. That's my favorite song in KOF history. They've outdone themselves.

  • Personally, I hate the 2002 soundtrack. All they did was take classic KOF tunes and somehow make them horribly low quality.

The game's original stage tunes onthe other hand weren't bad. But they certainly weren't good either. Not by SNK standards.

  • The biggest crime in that whole game was Rugal's theme. They ditched his awesome classic theme for...I don't even know what that was.

And the Abandoned Town/Kula theme was good IMO.

  • I... actually really liked Rugal's theme in it. "Last Dance" I think it was called. Obviously not as good as the original, but still very fitting for the fight. Each to their own, I supposed.
