Grapefruit guy - a local distributor, he moved excess inventory off the books, made a good impression on the market as a 'good man', and kept prices of grapefruits up (he donated a LOT).
Stores - Stores had plenty of things they couldn't sell, and they gave me some of it - like one thing per store. The store names were mentioned in the news. Inventory off the books.
Me - international travel, unique college application
Sorry to say, but they are all full of shit. I only listened to the first question, but even the guy claiming to be a republican says it's a crime to not have healthcare for children.
None of these people know what their job an members of Congress actually is...
I do consider myself to be a Ron Paul republican in many regards, in that the role of the government should be limited.
If for example, 5 year old girl has leukemia, mother and father are dead and their is no additional family. Who will or should pay for her treatment?
Can you provide a ethically reasonable solution to provide treatment in that scenario? How can we provide a free market that will have the incentives to treat the girl? I would like to hear your ideas.
If YOU are willing to have tax dollars taken from yourself so that a girl can get medical treatment, why don't you donate to charity?
The private sector does a better job. How are people cared for under state-sponsored programs?
In the 90's as a high school aged kid, I raised thousands for a charity that would send me to South America for a couple of months.
ALL of the money raised was in exchange for some goods - grapefruits, merchandise donated from stores, etc.

Everyone who participated gained, too.
