I was at this show and it was an amazing day. All the bands were amazing, a real tragedy about the 2 kids.

I was there with my brother as a fresh faced 19 year old, my first festival and it was a real eye opener for us too! we were about a 1/3rd of the way back when Guns came on and it was pretty terryifying. We managed to get to the front for Roth, Kiss and Maiden which was superb. Real tragedy about the 2 kids though. A day i will never forget!

My first concert too.....what a fuckin eye opener....i was near the front during GNR but didnt realise there had been deaths....it was mental....and it did make Iron Maiden's usual finisher " Always look on the bright side of life etc" look a bit sick...:-s

what a day my first ever concert. I nearly shit myself down front during GnR set. slipping in mud, getting crushed, Axls pleading with crowd to cool it. Never forget the day though It cold and wet but AMAZING

I was there too, remember being question by a policeman when I was leaving - asking did I see anything .... bad happening ... near the stage.

Only knew what he was talking about when I got home and saw the papers and news about the deaths.

I do remember being near the front during the megadeth set and not being able to breath and needing to get away fast - I was 16 and not tall. The deaths had happened during the GNR set I think second on the bill

It was my first festival!!! The best..i lost all my mates as soon as i entered the mosh pit!! Was a little pissed..sad coz 2 people died coz there was so many there unbelievable crowd!! Ill never forget it..those jacks of piss flying in the air by 1000's aint like that no more...
