Also, I'm sure if they just gave their names so they could know who filed the complaint to get back to them in the future, everything would have went smoothly. I'm sure they didn't ust pick a random dept. either. It was probably notorious for corruption.

You can't generalize all of the police in America. My dad's been a police officer for 25 years and I've seen the guys he works with and know what kind of a person he is and his coworkers are. Lots of cops are good cops that got into the job for the right reasons, others are power-hungry savages that do this shit because they know they can get away with it. It's the same with authoritative figures in school and shit. Some will give detentions out just because they're assholes that know they can.

However, I like yours. To me, that makes sense. The system is fucked, but there is an unfair stereotype this documentary is reinforcing. I do agree the system needs work. Not in my city though. Cops are occasionally in the paper for abuse of power and this info is publicized by the department themselves.

Also, I'm sure if they just gave their names so they could know who filed the complaint to get back to them in the future, everything would have went smoothly. Where I live, there have been officers fired because of complaints and those complaints are used against them. I actually thought that part was kind of silly. I'm sure they didn't ust pick a random dept. either. It was probably notorious for corruption.
