It was Big Chief that Elvis Presley was actually emulating on stage.Elvis wanted to be a bass singer.You can see it when Big Chief is moving more freely in other clips.

This is VERY classic Statesmen w/Denver Crumpler. Their harmonies are yet to be matched IMO. :)
