Joss' brilliance was truly brought out during the writers strike. In all forms of employment, when you are unfairly pushed you either wither or demand more of yourself than previously (by fans) thought possible.
I submit that Dr. Horrible is the closest and most truthful work we have received since The Bard himself.

That's funny. I thought the same thing. And then right after that, I remembered 1st season, episode 3 of Dollhouse where Rayna talks about being grown in a lab and asks Echo/Jordan if she was grown in a lab. *giggle*
