I can't imagine a Porsche with a diesel engine. I hope that they do the same with their sports cars as well. I'd love to see a 911 Porsche with a diesel engine in the back of it.
Amazing lack of quality in Porsche Cayenne...beware!!!.... I drove some puddles, 3/4 of the tires under water, mini vans and cheap Asian sedans drove through them, and they were okay.....but not my Cayenne...so if you are planning on buying one, make sure your drive it only in perfect roads, and most important....dry roads...buy a cheap Asian car in case it rains...jaja
Okay tell me how to build a Motor in L form, or in S form.
Maybe you in line that's I not L.
Maybe you should have another look at BMW's engine in reality. There is no Motor arranged in a S, plus it would very dumb to build a motor in a S form..
by the way, Did you like the movie " the pianist" ?
Drove one of these and its convinced me diesels are the way forward, even in sports cars. The combination of performance and fuel economy cannot be ignored!
Why are you disappointed in Porsche? This makes the car a lot more practical since the diesel engine greatly increases fuel range, almost to the 650 miles per tank as opposed to the regular, 250-300 range on petrol. This model has a lot of torque, more horsepower, and also you spend less time at the pump and more time on the road. Porsche is attracting more demographics due to the fact they are going green. Audi does it in their Q7, VW does it in their Touareg. It's just an engine. A better one.
Do you know how to listen? They say 10 years ago no one could imagine that Porsche would have a SUV, and it is true. 5 years ago no one would imagine that Aston Martin would even make a car to compete with SMART, and now they will.

BMW have 3.0 V6 single turbo diesel 245bhp & 3.0 V6 biturbo diesel 286 bhp
chirsis 2 years ago
Not exactly Porsche's FIRST diesel, seeing as Dr. Ferdinand was building those in the 1930s!

Well done from Porsche...
I would prefer BMW 3.0 V6 biturbo 286 hp.
