I just installed this sink, but can't get the single hose to attach to the base. any thoughts? there doesn't appear to be a plastic clip around the hose, like the diagram says.
@travl3r84 Without seeing what you have I can't be positive. The hose for the pull out generally will snap right onto the valve outlet hose with just the press of the button (clip). If its not there, I would contact your retailer to facilitate a return or request a replacement part.
Ours started leaking, it looks like the main hose attached to the pull-out head developed a leak inside the internal tubing encased by mesh. A couple of fine streams of water leaks out, only when the hose is bent. The mesh is undamaged so I'm puzzled how the hose inside developed a leak. Shouldn't this be covered by the lifetime warranty? I looked up the part at kohler.com and it lists as 1114379 HOSE KIT for $40.05 with shipping.
my hose just came completely unattached from the pull out sprayer and it looks like Im gonna have to remove entire unit to pull it through, dont know why yet or if hose is damaged,Im now gonna figure out how to remove,im looking for a how too video now..anyone else have hose just randomly come apart?
Having problem with low pressure. Checked the aerator...seemed clear, seems like there is a blockage slowing water flow. Water pressure throughout the house if fine. Low pressure isolated to this faucet. All water is on....any suggestions..
@fdeod Without actually inspecting the faucet personally I would have to guess your valve cartridge has a blockage. You can find the GP1016515 replacement at BuildDotCom. Also check your supply hoses and valves for blockages by unhooking the hoses from the faucet and directing them into a bucket. Check for a strong flow. Also watch for debris. You can also call Kohler directly at 1-800-4KOHLER. Their products carry limited lifetime warranties so it can't hurt to ask them what they recommend.
@fdeod In case anyone else has this problem: sorry if this was an obvious answer, but we didn't think to check the screen at the base of the pull-out, only the one at the head. The screen at the base of the pull-out handle got clogged when we had a well problem and all the sediment in our pressure tank was stirred up. It's a simple task to unscrew the hose at the base of the pull-out handle and clean the screen.
After a few months, I had trouble with the pivoting the faucet arm - took considerable effort. As for repair: I took the short-cut way of getting to the o-ring and bearing by taking the handle & bonnet and partially raising hub & spout. added silicon lubricant and Vaseline. Helped somewhat but not entirely. (I didn't want to uninstall faucet from below sink) Anyone else having problem with pivoting spout?
