Greetings from Shady Grove Fire & Rescue. Great vid. We are an all volunteer department with 16 members. We respond to everything from structure fires , brush fires, medical calls, and to MVAs. No cats in the tree yet but everytime we respond we have animals around because we live in rual Arkansas. Farm country.

70% of us are vol. we dont get payed but we do die, we go and help people even at times we miss things like birthdays to help others .we do our job to save people not for money.

@mm62firefighter thats very true and something people need to understand is volunteer firefighters are firefighters as well just because we dont get paid or have the greatest equipment doesnt mean were not firefighters

I'm a rual firefighter volunteer in Australia I was suprised to see the volunteers over in the USA fight strucher fire as well as wild fires

@isf1984 Our department does structure fires, field fires, forest fires, EMT, auto extrication, hazardous materials response, CO detector response, Weapons of Mass Destruction response (only one bomb search so far), search and rescue, water rescue, animal rescue, and once ... just once ... I got called to get a cat out of a tree.

i wish led bars were more affordable, i would like to run almost all LED on our trucks, most are halogen but those are still bright. certain light bars that are strobe arent as bright as they should be.

Hey is it just me or did the brush pickup not have his full lightbar activated at the first video at about :23 to :28, his back lights and his front talon led's are on but not the lightbar on top.

@truckboy59 There on its just our light bar has a weak power supply to it so its not bright at all
