  • 3:25 Gloria has no windows in her bedroom. It's a duplex and there are no windows on the side e of the room we don't see.

  • "I don't stimulate him anymore."

    "Whaaaaaaat?" LOL

  • When Gloria cheated on Mike it was because of Mike treating her like she was stupid and ignoring her because she didn't have things in common and that wasn't how it was when they were first together

  • Mikes a real ass hole Gloria is hot id be fucking her any chance i get from a break from my school work...lol..hes a dick but i guess that's great acting and great writing...

  • Did you know that the actor who played Stuart also was on ICarly as Carly and Spenser's grandfather.

  • Gloria's face after she tells him to shove it is priceless!

  • the assistant professor's head is rather swollen tonight

  • where is part 3?

  • Archie never even made an appearance in this episode.

  • Gloria was being a jerk in this episode...why wouldn't she just buzz off and let Mike talk to his friend and hang out? The guy at least deserves an evening with his pal to play a game or two of chess and talk about all their crap in peace.

  • @RichieEastside yeah geez everything in this house is a big emotional explosion

    except for edith shes cool

  • I want Archie

  • and Archie calls Edith a dingbat? Gloria does a much better job being that....just smile at the man (Mike) and play him like Lionnel plays Archie...duhhh :-) Of course she didn't know who Adler was; she didn't study psychology and yet she knew about Freud. I know plenty people with a PhD who know neither one of them.....go figure. Mike is a real jerk, but then his role was intended to be THAT!! :-)

  • Gloria's pouty faces are adorable.

  • I would have thrown the coffee in his face! HA HA HA HA

  • @ejr23 - I would have reheated it first and then drop it in his lap :-)

  • Hah, I knew it !! I've never seen the first few minutes of the bedroom scene in all the years this show has been in syndication. But now it's confirmed...Gloria loves it doggie-style. Oops, sorry if that doesn't sound so intellectual enough. LOL...

  • Awesome Gloria!!!!!!

  • big deal they are talking about liberal arts.... psychology, philosophy.. big deal. try explaining complex things like chemical reactions, biological mechanisms, and physical processes and then will talk intellect. anybody can memorize and recite anything, but explaining and understanding nature takes more intellect and deeper thinking skills... so shove it mike

  • @aaron19840904 Your lucky that someone took the time to learn you those things. You must be smarts!

  • @aaron19840904 I am an Engineer and don't know if it takes more intellect to understand the things you mention, just a lot more more work. Because as you say, it is not just a matter memorizing or "knowing" something, but actually being able to do something such as, design a device or system utilizing abstract scientific principals defined by complex mathematics. This takes a level of study/practice that many people are not willing to commit to. But that does not make them less intelligent.

  • @baguazhang77 i understand i am biochemist working about to finish a master's. i am not saying that doing something other than what i mentioned makes you less intelligent, there are people who never went to college that are extremely intelligent. i was trying to point out that mike isn't intelligent at all he only pretends to be. I think his character comes off as highly insecure about his own intelligence so he has to belittle everyone else. he is a two bit schmuck was my point, thats all

  • @aaron19840904

I agree, and Mike's attitude in this episode hit a nerve with me too. Of course it is only a show, but obviously with very good writing and acting, seeing as how we are discussing/analyzing it as we are 30+ years later. Too bad they don't make shows like this anymore.

    Good luck on the Masters.

  • @baguazhang77 yeah it was a really great show and i know it was only a show, but i really can't stand his character haha, i know people that are just like him and they are really bothersome. i agree with everything you've said its just i can't watch this show sometimes without getting annoyed by that schmuck character of mike. oh well

  • It looks like Stuart would have been a better match for Gloria than Michael. Watch it Michael, or Stuart will beat your time with Gloria.

  • Mike is such an ass, that's why he's my least favorite character.

  • Shove it, Meathead!

  • Gloria is so cute!

  • If I were Gloria and he kept throwing me outta the room like that, I'd poor the coffee in his lap. :P

  • @SapphireAdams1 You mean pour...a lot of people make that mistake.

    :-p

    I tease.

  • @jsunflyguy Lmao, goes to show what I noticed before I type...LOL!

  • Gloria,oh Gloria, you make my life Euphoria ! Why did you stoop so low and marry an Anti-American ultra leftwing commie pinko who bores ya ? Your life would of been more happier & financially secure marrying a Conserative Republican. He atleast would of worked and contributed something at the sametime going to college .Now all you got is a deadbeat "Meathead" who pisses your dear ol' dad off ! Hey ,I was bored,I know it's stupid. Not the part how Republicans are great, awesome, patriotic people !

  • She doesnt even have Mike anymore. He leaves her to join a hippie commune in the Archies Place spinoff. I always felt bad for her because Mike is a militant psuedo-intellectual.

  • @Shameless1AtL Yeah,I remember the episode where Archie turns on Gloria and says to Mike"I never thought I'd say this but your too good for her "! That was really sad. That was about the time when Archie Bunkers place really started to become lame other then the Death of Edith.

  • Actually, Mike should try to include Gloria. At least, to see, "Hey! This is my wife; I respect her, and isn't she beautiful in all ways?" Stewart gets it, actually. He has class and consideration. He tries to get Mike to make her a part of the conversation.

  • Not only that. He knows how to have fun as well as have an intelligent conversation. And, let's face it, he would rather have gloria around because she is also nice to look at. You know he wants to polish his bishop inside of her. Who wouldn't?

  • gloria always wanted the attention. and if she didnt get it the she would get mad. i had a girlfriend like that once and it drove me crazy. mike always gave her space when she had someone over..she shouldve done the same.

  • Stuart tried to make it a point to include her, so mike should have obliged.

  • Are they going to screw? What kind of comment is that? Whether Mike works or not is the point. He invited a friend over and has a right to expect to be able to converse with that friend. Just as any other member of the household does. Where he made his mistake was not making that objective clear up front. Because they usually all sit in on each other's visits, she had an expectation that she would be welcome.

  • Mike wasn't trying to be mean or make her feel like an outcast. It's just that, when Gloria visits her friends or friends would visit her, he never bothered her. He'd give her some space, and he just wanted her to do the same. Sometimes couples don't have to do EVERY little itty bitty single thing together. You gotta give each other room.

  • Gloria needs to give Mike some provicy with his friend...she's in the way!!

  • "Privacy with his friend"? Are they going to screw? Mike's friend is a guest in ARCHIE'S house where Gloria was born. Let's not forget Mike doesn't have a house. Besides, as his wife, she has every right to be at home. I don't understand your POV.

  • I love how on the 2nd charade the audience was in on it before Mike.

  • gloria is hot

  • gloria is hot - I agree with her long blonde hair.

  • You have to realize, though, how much of a gaping generalization that is. I'm a man, and I've met many whose intellectual capacities don't extend Monday night football and beer. And many women who would gladly discuss Sartre with you.

  • its gloria

  • lmao "and when they got older it moved"
