MOST Stevie fans care about her choice of footwear. It's stupid, but it's jut the way it is. Stevie herself seems to care about it as well as she has publicly commented on the subject & has returned to wearing her trademark platform boots. It is all part of the iconic image that Stevie has nurtured for over 40 years. She's know as much for her boots, clothing, microphones, tamborines as she is for her songs. Personally, I detested the "orthopedic tennis shoes" look she adopted for a few years.

Yeah, I had a moment with her in Detroit last October and I was so happy to see those boots coming closer to me... THE ORIGINAL BOOTS... I almost cried, met her, and then cried, lol. (IN THAT ORDER.) It was only an end-of-stage hand grabb, but it made my wildest dream come true.
