Oh and you mistake influences for "sounds like", you can be influenced by a band and still sound nothing like it.

@hardrockerbuilder But... you just can't call heavy metal to this kind of music, you can say that Amon Amarth is heavy metal, you can say that Cannibal Corpse is heavy metal, but THIS particulary kind of music isn't (bands like Parkway Drive, A Day To Remember and this, they have more hardcore influences than even metal influences). I'm like you, I also don't like when people say "yo this isn't herpcore it's derp metal" but not this time, it's a bad call IMO. BTW great band =D

Anyway, it's definitely got some metal in it, so metalcore fits, but it's heavier on the hardcore influence than the metal.
