  • Is the apex 37 still good or did it get taken by the freerided and the 40

  • @Lonngboard2 nah i have one and love it!

  • HIPPIE JUMPS!

  • Is the Aoex 37 only a board for advanced drivers, or could ride beginners on it too??

  • @4BlaBLuBDibLa4

    I mean Apex... :D

  • @4BlaBLuBDibLa4 I think its pretty rough to start with it. Get used to longboard first or else its just a waste of money. Start with like a cheap sector 9 or like a pintail or sumthing then if you really like longboarding, once you start sliding, get the apex.

  • Hey,

I'm 198cm tall, my weight is 76kg and my foots are 45,5cm. I want do ride downhill and to make some tricks which board is the best for me and wich weels should i use ?

  • can anyone tell me when the freeride 41 is coming out? i seriously want to see more of that board.

  • hey, i've ordered the apex 37 carbon and i got the kryptonics with it. Would i need to get better wheels for it, or will they do. By the way im only a beginner.

  • was this filmed at gordon college?

  • Trick tip for 1:04?

    please

  • hey original i'm planning on getting the apex 37 soon because it seems to be a great versatile board. to stick with a versatile theme, what wheels would be good?

  • @TheFallenPerfection Check out the Orangatang Purple Stimulus wheels, or Abec 11 Flashbacks 81 a. Either should work great.

  • Oh wow another original video with amazing riders to get people to buy original! People you cant do any of this shit on this board no matter how hard you try the people that do this like brian bishop are insanely good.

  • i wish i could afford one :(

  • Can i be on Apex37 with 87Kg ??

  • @TwoBigGamers yes you can. You would be the middle weight flex.

  • Wow! I like that you respond. I'm 6ft2 and 86kg. I'm a surfer who likes to carve smooth lines down-hill and slide out. What long board do you recommend. I've skated for many years on a short board on the street. Ta from Australia!

  • @gtarluva you may want to check out our Hybrid, it's a surf simulator and tons of fun! Otherwise, the Apex 37 is our most versatile board and slides easily. Check out both of them!

  • what wheels were used for this video? and what durometer?

  • Comment removed

  • Bish ftw

  • im prety sure tht was the first ever varial flip

  • @Originalskateboards i know u probably will tell me to get an original but would you recomend the Arbor axis koa or the Arbor axis bamboo for bombing or freeriding

  • Hi i was wondering which is the better one? for real no shit talk just because this is a original video. The tan tien or apex 37 2011? ps. i own the tan tien but im thinking of buying the apex deck.

  • Hey is there a reason i cannot find the flyweight flex on your website?

  • Whats the trick called at 1:24

  • hey original im 5 foot 4 and 120 pounds i watched the vids for the apex 37 and feel in love im a huge fan of freestyle riding and im getting into downhill a lil bit

do u recomend the apex for me?

  • @frank1738rhcp the Apex 37 would be a great choice for you! You would be the flyweight flex.

  • hi question for brian bish have you ever snapeed your apex im thinking of getting one but they look very flexy my previous re4cords with a flex1 board is not good so can i please have some awnsers from any one but brian would be better

  • @DJT5678 The board in this video is the older version of the Apex 37. The newer (2011) version is a lot stiffer and is constructed with carbon fiber so it will not be too flexy nor will it snap!

  • @theHaxLover yea haha, ive already ordered the 2011 carbon apex 37! im so excited and cant wait for it to arrive C:

  • fuck going back to skating, im going to get into this

  • i was watching this and realized i no everywere u filmed! that was crazy! id love to try and learn from u guys sometime!

  • hi, im 15, live in Australia (g'day :D) and weigh about 55 kilos, or 120 pounds... im thinking about buying the apex 37, as it looks like an all round great board... although iv'e only longboarded a little bit by borrowing friends longboards, I intend to maily carve, slide, and once i work up to it, start doing tricks and stuff like that (and mabye a little hill bombing)... do you think the apex 37 would be a suitable board for a beginner such as myself? @Originalskateboards

  • @ripstikid1 Hey! The Apex 37 would definitely be a good board for the type of riding your looking to do. It's a more advanced board though and isn't the easiest to learn on if you're a beginner with no experience. A really good beginner board to learn on would be from the Pintail series. They're really stable and they're flatter, stiffer boards, making learning easy.

  • Comment removed

  • @ripstikid1 u should get one

  • THUMBS UP!!! when does the freeride prototype come out???

  • I really love carving and doing tricks, but i also want to be able to bomb hills that a very steep in my town, i weigh 130 pounds which flex should i get, keep in mind i want to be able to carve slide bomb hills and do tricks. thank you so much @originalskateboards

  • @ParkourPassion at 130 lbs you could either do the flyweight which goes up to 170 lbs, or the middleweight which starts at 130 lbs. Obviously the flyweight will have more flex to it and the middleweight will feel much more stiff.. so get whatever one you think you would feel more comfortable on. If you're really interested in bombing hills then you may want to wait for our freeride board to come out.

  • @Originalskateboards thanks for the reply, i bomb hills to were i reach about 20 mph is this a problem with a "flexer' flex?

  • Im looking for some wheels that are good/easy to slide with. Can any1 help me ?

  • @ParkourPassion if you wanna bomb, find another company

  • 0:22 was probably the most bad ass thing I've seen on a longboard, as far as tricks.

  • Yes Yes Yes!

  • hahaha "YES YES YES!!!"

  • that shuvit slide was butter.

  • wats the trick at 1:30

  • @The50carter That is a varial flip

  • I weigh about 126 and I like cruising and going downhill occasionaly, nothing big but would flex weight still be stable enough to go about 20-25 downhill?

  • Guys, I´m154 lbs, what would be the best flex variant for me? I wanna buy this board today and I just gotta decide this but I don´t have a clu, since this will be my first longboard.

  • @ADAMAKAGORE At 154lbs you could go Flyweight for carving and flex or Middleweight for a stiff freestyle / freeride option. Middleweight will be almost totally stiff for you.

If you plan on doing tricks / slides go Middleweight, if you want more carving / cruising (which certainly maintains the option to do tricks) go Flyweight the flex will make cruising more comfortable at the expense of a little stability.

  • @Originalskateboards THanks a lot for the quick answer. Ordered the Apex 37 middleweight. Dying to get it. Your videos are the reason of my choice.

  • @ADAMAKAGORE awesome! Let us know what you think once you get the chance to ride it!

  • white boy got hops

  • no way, this is right by shaws in beverly! i also like how you always film in local areas in mass :D

  • @slash123999 which one?

  • idek understand how brian bishop can slide like that in the beginning

  • white boy can jump...

  • 1:32 yes dance?

  • 0.59 for balance

  • make more videos please

  • 0:25 OMG Jizz.

  • A lot of tennis player practicing on that court.... anyway IMPRESSIVE !!!

  • i heard brian bishop eats baby whales and pure testosterone for breakfast...

  • yes yes YES

  • Hi original i love your longboards i have the pintail43 and terrapin34 im getting the apex37 next week my goal is to get sponosored by you guys! GO LONGBOARD

  • lol, just got the Apex 37 2011 today and one thing to say.... Once you try it, theres no going back.

  • @Zombiepingoo what set up do you have? im gunna get it with the bear grizzly trucks... i dont tend to like the originals they break to easily.

  • @Brownbear712 im telling you something reall smart.... ''dont go with original trucks, stay with the bear and put some durian orangatang wheels into it also buy some red bone beering or a ceramic ones and that is the God´s board...''

  • @Zombiepingoo mine is coming in to tomorrow... im sooo excited

  • Hey Original if i wanted to get sponsored by you, would i send it to ur youtube, customer support email or what? :) peace out from Australia

  • Lol, was that dane going YESYESYES!? haha

  • hey brian, what wheels do you recommend to use for the apex 37

  • Yes yes yes

  • @LAE1530 It's not yes yes yes, it's YES!! YES!! YES!!

  • how much money will this co$t

  • brian bishop is so good its not funny...oh wait hahahahahahahahaha

  • Do you have to ride a original board to be sponsored by you guys or can i send u a video and if you think im good enough for you to sponsore me you send me a board and then i ride for you?

  • @derrrpp na u just send a video to them it doesnt matter what board u use

  • wow, this guy is awesome. its insane how he is able to do all his moves in perfectly fluid motions. he makes it look so easy =P

  • @beastlyorion its cus he skates goofy. im assuming you skate regular.

  • @triviumfr3ak skating goofy makes tricks more easy? i thought it was just everything backwards, or forwards depending on what you start with. i've actually been trying to learn how to skate goofy lately. its a lot harder than it looks =)

  • @beastlyorion its everything backwards indeed, but it makes skating like a fluid motion. goofy skaters dont think about what theyre doing they just do it which leaves a large amount of room for improv; regular skaters have to think about everything they do. its just two completely different ways of skating. for regular its all like one big math equation.

  • @triviumfr3ak so what about people who can ride both goofy and regular?

hopefully in about a month, i'll be able to ride both ways more easily; that way i can start learning some

    tricks n stuff

  • @beastlyorion then its whatever stance youre in at the time, most people quickly slide back to their original stance after doing a slide so a brain switch doesnt happen, but someone who is godly at skating will be able to ride in goofy for a while do some slides and stuff and then go to regular and do some slides there as well. each stance has its benefits so why would you only want one? Darryl Freeman can skate both stances equally well and hes one of the only ones i know that can do that.

  • haha wth he sucks

  • Brian how do i become apart of the team should i send a video?

  • :23 - :25! That was soo fresh!

  • If i could fuck any girl in the world or that board,

    I'd choose the board.

  • @NoseBleedKing sad...

  • @sveadut

naw dude once you got the board you CAN fuck any girl in the world.

  • what song is this?

  • does the apex 37 fit with traditional trucks such as paris or randals?

  • thumbs up if you gasped at 1:04

  • Don't thumb this comment up :D

  • Hi Original! Im about to order the new apex 37 but I have some questions.. What flex should I have, im 72 inc tall och weigh about 152 lbs?

And also what wheels do you recomend, I like to carve, slide and want to learn ride more freeride/freestyle? and do I need the heavy or the medium springs?

one last question,do you send boards to Sweden?

    Thanks

  • @rubberas Just read on another vid that they ship anywhere in the world for $60(US Dollars) flat rate. Hope i helped, keep cruisin!

  • at 0:47 look at the thing in the background doing some donuts lol

  • Yes!! Yes!!! Yes!!! LOL!!

  • Hey original guys, can we send an email video to you guys to check and rate?maybe one day e can ride for originalskateboards, but...we dont have any skate of original, thats not a problem...(i think)maybe we could ride for u guys in brazil to expand the sport to all countries of the world ,we'll send it soon

  • Comment removed

  • what wheels are those

  • lol that golf cart, did the guys in the front even know?

  • i dont think you should ride on the green for tennis courts in respect for other sports besides longboarding ya know although that was some great stuff.

  • what should i get for a mix of sliding and grip? the orangatang stimulas, orangatang 4Pres or the Zigzags

  • @hardshot48 zig zags, they are a good sliding wheel with a lip for carving.

  • i love everything about longboarding. it can be as intense or as mellow as you want, the community is great, theres way more variety (in decks) than regular sk8s,more variety of tricks more choices when it comes to riding style, board setup, and riding equipment...i havent left my house a single time without it since i got it..... GO LONGBOARD!!!!

  • sick video Original! cheers from guatemala!

  • hey thats at gordon college i was doing the same tiger claws off that stair case two days ago

  • did anyone else notice the spinning lawn mower thing at around 0:44?

  • @hardshot48 lol thats hilarious

  • @hardshot48 yah, lolloloooolooolololoolol

  • hey brian, im just wondering, what do i need to be able to do to be an original junior rider.

  • what regular trucks do u recomend if u dont want the spring loaded ones

  • @chancerbob95 I like Paris 180s.

They seem great on the new Apex 37.

  • What perks do you get out of being sponsored?

  • What kind of wheels are those?

  • @B1GToeJAM Retro ZigZags (Lemon) 83a. :D

  • Brian Bishop is the best!

  • best. board. ever. :)

  • which flex is that and how much do u weigh cause im trying to figure out which weight i should get

  • @sparce6 if you look at the website under apex 37 it tells you the weight limits for each flex!

  • love the apex. i am michael i am wondering if this board is right for me i am ten and love longboarding

  • are 86a orangutang durians also good for carving or just sliding?

  • ok so i've been looking all over for a longboard and i think i want the apex 37. ive never longboarded but i really wanna start because i'll be using it to go around college next year. i live in Florida so it's a lot of flatland. i want one that is good for cruising but is capable of doing tricks as well. any ideas?

  • what wheels do you recommend for the apex 37

  • Original makes the best longboards!!!!!

  • why all the junior riders have an apex ? anybody with custom 35. I want to train to be able to enter in the original team. Can i be in the team with a custom?

  • Where is this? What state and city

  • Sick sliding in the beginning...

  • Are they retro lemons?

  • do you like stimulus, brian?

  • BRIAN BISHOP RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • when are these coming back in stock?

  • what trucks and bushings r u using

  • @tylersheehy those are original trucks, and instead of bushings there are springs :) and it looks like he has the black springs but im not 200% sure

  • you guys should do trick tips that would reallllyy help

  • wow im officially your disciple man holy shit your fucking badass!!

  • Alright, so i've been lonbgoarding for about 3 months. I love its its like i've found something ill never ever get bored of. I have a sector 9. but want an Apex37 :D Love everything you guys do, i appreciate it! Im just wondering how much you weigh? Im 165lbs should i get a MidWeight Or Heavy? And when are you guys going to restock?? :O :O There is none in stock! Thanks!

  • if i wnat to be sponsered what are some things that i should learn how to do

  • @bonzi11995 Powerslide, shove-it, tiger claw, old school kick-flip, cross-steps and much more.

  • hey brian what's best between the apex and the apex-34-37 on what you advise me

  • hey original,

Can u guys tell me if the orangatang in heat is better than the 4 pres or the opposite.

    thx

  • @opmfsnipe What do you mean better, what it better, varies for different uses.

  • how you do tricks on apex's?

  • hey brian wat wheel duro do you normally use for your slides?

  • this is isnane!

  • YES...YES....YES!

  • I dont know whether to buy the Apex or if i should wait for the 46" Pintail... what are the differences in performance and ride?

  • @superomid121 I beleive originals pintail is gonna be 40" not 46"... I beleive pintail is gonna be more of a downhill type board, Apex 37 is more carving, and all around, tricks, down hill etc. It's a hybrid board, meant for all rides.

  • Don't the original trucks have problems?

  • yo guys how the hell do u powerslide!?!?!??!! its so sick and i want to learn it so bad

  • hey brian i,m just wondering if i practiced and got good would be any chance of me being able to be one of the origanla riders?

  • @awsomeaidan

Yeah, just send us a video and we'll check it out!

  • @Originalskateboards ok thx first i have to order my apex 37 lol

  • @Originalskateboards hey Original. If I send you a video looking to get sponsored, do I need to be riding an Original board? been trying to get one but they're always outta stock online.

  • @Originalskateboards if u become a team rider what do you get? i cant wait for the new apex 37

  • @Originalskateboards where do you send the vid to?

  • @Originalskateboards even if you live up in canda eh?

  • @awsomeaidan you would also have to spell it right :P

  • this is why brian bishop is the man..

  • MADD

  • can you only do pop tricks with the apex 37 or is it just easier?

  • can you only do pop tricks with the apex or is it just easier with it?

  • hey guys! I have a similar question to the last. I'm 5,3 and about 120 pounds. I cant decide between on a board. I need something than can stand a little bit of rough surfaces but wont be to heavy to put on my back. suggestions?

  • @Carth152 derringer, but only if youve already ridden longboards before, otherwise maybe overhead or manhattan.

  • yo man ur a beast all i could do in this video is the hippy jump and sliding and should i get the apex or the custom i dont know which would be better for carving and sliding

  • god i wish mine would show up sometime soon!

  • brian bishop is actually wearing a helmet ?!?!?!?!!!!!!!

  • My reaction was exactly the same as that guy at the end "YES! YES!!" i love you as well Brian

  • i love you brian
