HELP?!!?!?! I know this sounds stupid but can it still carve well(Apex 37 2011)? I have a S9 bamboo board that carves very well i just dont want to waste money on a board that cant carve and only slide.
@4BlaBLuBDibLa4 I think its pretty rough to start with it. Get used to longboard first or else its just a waste of money. Start with like a cheap sector 9 or like a pintail or sumthing then if you really like longboarding, once you start sliding, get the apex.
I'm 198cm tall, my weight is 76kg and my foots are 45,5cm. I want do ride downhill and to make some tricks which board is the best for me and wich weels should i use ?
hey, i've ordered the apex 37 carbon and i got the kryptonics with it. Would i need to get better wheels for it, or will they do. By the way im only a beginner.
hey original i'm planning on getting the apex 37 soon because it seems to be a great versatile board. to stick with a versatile theme, what wheels would be good?
Oh wow another original video with amazing riders to get people to buy original! People you cant do any of this shit on this board no matter how hard you try the people that do this like brian bishop are insanely good.
Wow! I like that you respond. I'm 6ft2 and 86kg. I'm a surfer who likes to carve smooth lines down-hill and slide out. What long board do you recommend. I've skated for many years on a short board on the street. Ta from Australia!
@gtarluva you may want to check out our Hybrid, it's a surf simulator and tons of fun! Otherwise, the Apex 37 is our most versatile board and slides easily. Check out both of them!
@Originalskateboards i know u probably will tell me to get an original but would you recomend the Arbor axis koa or the Arbor axis bamboo for bombing or freeriding
Hi i was wondering which is the better one? for real no shit talk just because this is a original video. The tan tien or apex 37 2011? ps. i own the tan tien but im thinking of buying the apex deck.
hey original im 5 foot 4 and 120 pounds i watched the vids for the apex 37 and feel in love im a huge fan of freestyle riding and im getting into downhill a lil bit
hi question for brian bish have you ever snapeed your apex im thinking of getting one but they look very flexy my previous re4cords with a flex1 board is not good so can i please have some awnsers from any one but brian would be better
@DJT5678 The board in this video is the older version of the Apex 37. The newer (2011) version is a lot stiffer and is constructed with carbon fiber so it will not be too flexy nor will it snap!
hi, im 15, live in Australia (g'day :D) and weigh about 55 kilos, or 120 pounds... im thinking about buying the apex 37, as it looks like an all round great board... although iv'e only longboarded a little bit by borrowing friends longboards, I intend to maily carve, slide, and once i work up to it, start doing tricks and stuff like that (and mabye a little hill bombing)... do you think the apex 37 would be a suitable board for a beginner such as myself? @Originalskateboards
@ripstikid1 Hey! The Apex 37 would definitely be a good board for the type of riding your looking to do. It's a more advanced board though and isn't the easiest to learn on if you're a beginner with no experience. A really good beginner board to learn on would be from the Pintail series. They're really stable and they're flatter, stiffer boards, making learning easy.
I really love carving and doing tricks, but i also want to be able to bomb hills that a very steep in my town, i weigh 130 pounds which flex should i get, keep in mind i want to be able to carve slide bomb hills and do tricks. thank you so much @originalskateboards
@ParkourPassion at 130 lbs you could either do the flyweight which goes up to 170 lbs, or the middleweight which starts at 130 lbs. Obviously the flyweight will have more flex to it and the middleweight will feel much more stiff.. so get whatever one you think you would feel more comfortable on. If you're really interested in bombing hills then you may want to wait for our freeride board to come out.
I weigh about 126 and I like cruising and going downhill occasionaly, nothing big but would flex weight still be stable enough to go about 20-25 downhill?
Guys, I´m154 lbs, what would be the best flex variant for me? I wanna buy this board today and I just gotta decide this but I don´t have a clu, since this will be my first longboard.
@ADAMAKAGORE At 154lbs you could go Flyweight for carving and flex or Middleweight for a stiff freestyle / freeride option. Middleweight will be almost totally stiff for you.
If you plan on doing tricks / slides go Middleweight, if you want more carving / cruising (which certainly maintains the option to do tricks) go Flyweight the flex will make cruising more comfortable at the expense of a little stability.
Hi original i love your longboards i have the pintail43 and terrapin34 im getting the apex37 next week my goal is to get sponosored by you guys! GO LONGBOARD
@Brownbear712 im telling you something reall smart.... ''dont go with original trucks, stay with the bear and put some durian orangatang wheels into it also buy some red bone beering or a ceramic ones and that is the God´s board...''
Do you have to ride a original board to be sponsored by you guys or can i send u a video and if you think im good enough for you to sponsore me you send me a board and then i ride for you?
@triviumfr3ak skating goofy makes tricks more easy? i thought it was just everything backwards, or forwards depending on what you start with. i've actually been trying to learn how to skate goofy lately. its a lot harder than it looks =)
@beastlyorion its everything backwards indeed, but it makes skating like a fluid motion. goofy skaters dont think about what theyre doing they just do it which leaves a large amount of room for improv; regular skaters have to think about everything they do. its just two completely different ways of skating. for regular its all like one big math equation.
@beastlyorion then its whatever stance youre in at the time, most people quickly slide back to their original stance after doing a slide so a brain switch doesnt happen, but someone who is godly at skating will be able to ride in goofy for a while do some slides and stuff and then go to regular and do some slides there as well. each stance has its benefits so why would you only want one? Darryl Freeman can skate both stances equally well and hes one of the only ones i know that can do that.
Hi Original! Im about to order the new apex 37 but I have some questions.. What flex should I have, im 72 inc tall och weigh about 152 lbs?
And also what wheels do you recomend, I like to carve, slide and want to learn ride more freeride/freestyle? and do I need the heavy or the medium springs?
Hey original guys, can we send an email video to you guys to check and rate?maybe one day e can ride for originalskateboards, but...we dont have any skate of original, thats not a problem...(i think)maybe we could ride for u guys in brazil to expand the sport to all countries of the world ,we'll send it soon
i dont think you should ride on the green for tennis courts in respect for other sports besides longboarding ya know although that was some great stuff.
i love everything about longboarding. it can be as intense or as mellow as you want, the community is great, theres way more variety (in decks) than regular sk8s,more variety of tricks more choices when it comes to riding style, board setup, and riding equipment...i havent left my house a single time without it since i got it..... GO LONGBOARD!!!!
ok so i've been looking all over for a longboard and i think i want the apex 37. ive never longboarded but i really wanna start because i'll be using it to go around college next year. i live in Florida so it's a lot of flatland. i want one that is good for cruising but is capable of doing tricks as well. any ideas?
why all the junior riders have an apex ? anybody with custom 35. I want to train to be able to enter in the original team. Can i be in the team with a custom?
Alright, so i've been lonbgoarding for about 3 months. I love its its like i've found something ill never ever get bored of. I have a sector 9. but want an Apex37 :D Love everything you guys do, i appreciate it! Im just wondering how much you weigh? Im 165lbs should i get a MidWeight Or Heavy? And when are you guys going to restock?? :O :O There is none in stock! Thanks!
@superomid121 I beleive originals pintail is gonna be 40" not 46"... I beleive pintail is gonna be more of a downhill type board, Apex 37 is more carving, and all around, tricks, down hill etc. It's a hybrid board, meant for all rides.
@Originalskateboards hey Original. If I send you a video looking to get sponsored, do I need to be riding an Original board? been trying to get one but they're always outta stock online.
hey guys! I have a similar question to the last. I'm 5,3 and about 120 pounds. I cant decide between on a board. I need something than can stand a little bit of rough surfaces but wont be to heavy to put on my back. suggestions?
yo man ur a beast all i could do in this video is the hippy jump and sliding and should i get the apex or the custom i dont know which would be better for carving and sliding
Is the apex 37 still good or did it get taken by the freerided and the 40

I dont know whether to buy the Apex or if i should wait for the 46" Pintail... what are the differences in performance and ride?
superomid121 1 year ago
@superomid121 I beleive originals pintail is gonna be 40" not 46"... I beleive pintail is gonna be more of a downhill type board, Apex 37 is more carving, and all around, tricks, down hill etc. It's a hybrid board, meant for all rides.

hey guys! I have a similar question to the last. I'm 5,3 and about 120 pounds. I cant decide between on a board. I need something than can stand a little bit of rough surfaces but wont be to heavy to put on my back. suggestions?
Carth152 1 year ago
@Carth152 derringer, but only if youve already ridden longboards before, otherwise maybe overhead or manhattan.
