i ordered this DVD (it tells you where when this clip ends) and it's amazing. I haven't stopped doing the techniques yet.. I had a little trouble ordering and they actually CALLED me to ask if they could help.. And they got the DVD right out to me, Vvery impressive - then I watched the video, and went out and bought the maybe 2 items that I don't already have here, and followed the instructions step by step while pausing the DVD. Very inspirational and beautiful.

Jacqueline uses Golden gel mediums and matte medium to glue her various pieces down. Gels and mediums are a pretty amazing although they can be a bit confusing at first. I'm still figuring out when to use what. You can find Golden products in most craft stores these days but art supply stores definitely have them. Other companies make gels and mediums as well...I just know Golden products better. (Sorry if that's all stuff you know already. :)

does it work if you mix semi-gloss with flat paint when painting a bedroom wall?

Unfortunately I'm not going to be much help on the semi-gloss question. Our DVDs (and my knowledge base) only extend as far as fine art and craft and not interior design. I bet though you could call your local house paint supplier (either a Home Depot or a local independent business) and they'd be able to answer your question.

hi this is late sorry...

no you shouldn't mix semi-gloss w/ matt because of adhesion prob's ..

however you could do a semi-gloss over a dried flat paint layer but not the other way around ..

'fat over lean' ...& let the layers dry before proceeding ...
