I started liking Muse because of Gran Turismo & 'Sober', way back in the days.. If something has a positive influence of Muse's Fan Base i.e. Twilight, Change in music style (Uprising) then who are we to judge.. As long as muse continue to make great music i'm all for it.

FUCK! They are so ragingly orgasmic I feel actual love for this band and their music! I hope their next album comes back in this "old school/raw" direction. I appreciate innovation and evolution but it's time for these birth roots to be unearthed again.

With their next album I think Muse will blast away any doubts you all may have from the lastest one. Personally, I think it was written baring in mind recent events with Muse. They had just written for Twilight (Which SUCKS by the way) and gained alot of fame from it. They probably wanted to make those news fans happy, now alot more people listen to Muse, and are even discovering their old stuff. You may not realise it, but alot of good came from them writing for Twilight.

i've never bought so many songs in one day.

I guess my favorite part of muse, is how they're different between songs and albums. Albums change styles, and the songs change from being like hard rock (plug in baby) to soft dreamy love songs (unintended), to rather bouncy happy songs (invincible). And the songs themselves shift feelings too.

I think a true Muse fan will stick by Muse and accept what they do. It doesn't mean blindly loving anything they come out with (it's OK to not like how some songs turn out). It also doesn't mean getting stuck in the past asking that they repeat the same stuff they did when they were in their 20's.

Muse can do no wrong. I've actually been a fan since I was very young, and this album was released. I've followed them through a dreamy phase (this album), a spacey rock phase (Origin of Symmetry), a metal phase (Absolution), an alt-rock phase (Black Holes and Revelations), and now smooth alternative (Resistance). They haven't changed, they have just matured and come into their sound more. I will always be a fan, whether they sell out for a few songs or not.
