looks like the lower umpqua. I elk hunt the tioga unit every year but I just havn't got over to fish for the shad. My wifes uncle is a guide in Shady cove and he said it's an absolute blast.

I love shad fishing. It's fun and yes, they fight hard. Try fishing from bank up by Bonneville Dam. They get up to 5 lbs and over 20 inches.
