  • I agree with FanFromEurope, the compilation is great, but in my eyes it`s just a part of Gary as a musician, because there is so much mo(o)re... See all those brilliant ballads, all the fantastic blues- stuff. He was a man who played the guitar, how can I explain as a german, ´out of the stomach`, as we say. I never heard or saw somebody like him in this way and that`s the reason why he`ll ever be the greatest man on guitar who lived on earth!

  • @courgan09 : Actually, i'm in total agreement with the both of you! His diversity as a guitarist AND vocalist/musician/songwriter is what put him in a class above and all by himself. That diversity and success in each genre, that ability to even touch temporarily on different styles of music and still come across as truly genuine thoughout his career, is really something special, and one of the things that kept me hooked. I had wanted to do clip-compilations for the blues n ballads also, but....

  • @screaminone : ....i saw some REALLY nice tributes elsewhere, and was a bit jealous or in awe, and thought mine would would really be poor in comparison : 7) I may still do one when i have the extra time. Even to this day, i occasionaly stop for a moment to think: "can't believe the guy is gone..."

Your comments are very righteous and accurate--BIG thumbs up!

  • Very good compilation of Gary Moore's studio hardrock solos, though his live hardrock solos are technically better and faster. Please check out my uploads!
