The method for adjusting the Left stop on these sprinklers is stupid. There needs to be a mechanical method of Left adjustment without having to rotate the entire assembly.
if you set to the left while sprinkler is not on it will not strip the gears. also if you make sure the sprinkler itself isnt tightened onto the barb fitting all the way, you can turn the entire sprinkler while its running and get it set precisely to where you want it to spray. after setting to the left and then the right, stand back and watch the sprinkler fully rotate to make sure it is throwing where you want.
Problem is setting LEFT STOP. Not explained in any videos or documentation.
1. With sprinkler ON, take channel locks and GENTLY rotate base cylinder - so nozzle points to where you want LEFT STOP. Try turning to right first if cylinder will not go left.
2. RIGHT STOP is then set by adjustment screw on opposite side (top if head) from nozzle.
3. Adjust arc by closed screw next to nozzle (on top under rubber)\
This procedure worked for me after a lot of aggravation.
Let me add or clarify: AFTER you have rotated the top of the head to its furthest LEFT POSITION by hand(don't strip the gears like he said) THEN use the wrench , grabbing the base of the cylinder, and rotate it until the nozzle is pointing to your FURTHEST LEFT
position/stop. . . .Then adjust the right stop with screw. A pro might have a better method than channel locks, but could not find their input. ..

Thank you so much for this video. I had one of those spraying my front door every time. It is now adjusted thanks to the handy instructions in this video.
Should have been better organized and written out as a script. Confusing compared to others

Thanks for this video :)
Sprinklers.iFind2.com installed mine. It was only $1899 in Richmond, TX for my entire yard. 6 zones 16 heads.
They also had a $1399 option for front and back yard only.

@bkedp I agree. I am hoping in the future for new types of sprinkler heads and maybe even a whole new way for watering your lawn.
