What exhaust is that? Ive kept the stock exhaust on my ninja 500 since all others ive heard sounded like briggs & stratton lawn mowers, this one sounds quite decent
@vvtheduckvv why cant kawasaki make a 500 that looks like the 250 are they retarded! i want more than a 250 but less than a 600 but the 500 looks like crap.
@soccerstud2009 Patience my friend. Its all marketing. You bet they updated the 250 BEFORE the 500 on purpose. So you buy a 250 then a couple years from now they'd expect you to buy the updated 500, right? Makes perfect marketing sense to me if thats what they wind up doing. Otherwise the 500 is discontinued... or so they say.... dun dun dunnnnnnnnnn

If ONLY they MADE an EXACT REPLICA of a 250 faired bike with the larger 500 c.c. engine in it INSTEAD of what they mass-produced at the factory AS the "500 c.c."!! (which had alot of the 250's plastic-fairing parts CHOPPED off from it!!) THAT would've been a GREAT-BIKE Kawasaki!!!!
the ninja 500 fairings were nothing at all like the 250 fairings. generally speaking they were similar to the 86-87 250 fairing but those were completely different body wise then all the rest.
I know because i've owned a 1st gen 250, and second gen 250, as well as a 2 first gen 500's and a 2nd gen 500.
