Need to learn how to drive in snow. Be steady with the gas and you will avoid slipping... I thing a dozen others have said the same thing. Also I have blizzaks and it's sweet!
17 1/2 inches of snow in my driveway last year, and still blizzarding out! My 2011 Subaru Outback made it through 750 foot long driveway with no problem!
turn off the traction control. as you get moving keep applying pressure to the gas, dont feather on and off of it. sometimes you just have to slam it into and through the snow.
Would have easily got a lot further had you been going forward and/or carried more momentum. The part where you aren't stuck: turn around and take a good run-up.
dude forget the negative comments......first time in 20inches of snow you did great.....though next time it ( you probably know it now) you should do it when your cars facing the opposite direction....I find it easier ....my friends corolla got stuck on his old hill where he use to live and it is a pretty steep hill. I got it unstuck (3rd gear i think .....i forget) and turned the wheels left and right and it was free.
Friendly tip from living in northern PA, when you start getting momentum, don't stop, keep on the accelerator nice and steady, esp a Subaru, stopping and starting is the worst thing you can do.
yes i read the description :). Some hints-If your spinning the tires too much stop. This just melts the snow and turns it into ice when it refreezes making it even harder to get out. gentle on the accelerator and just let the system work :)
Manual or automatic?

На задний ход отключается симетричный полный привод, гребут только одно заднее и одно переднее колесо, так что двигатся нужно было только вперед!!!

Good video just turn the VDC off and you would of made it no problem. I have a 2011 outback and it plows through the snow like its nothing.

Turn off traction control. In some situations....wheel spin is desirable. Let the Awd do its thing and you'll eat that snow for breakfast

You need to shut the ESC off. Otherwise the computer thinks the car is skidding out and will cut power to the wheels.

im from buffalo i know how to handle that, you need to go forward if you can the punch the car backwards out of that pile.
