of dead skin on my lips so I took a paper towel and GENTLY but firmly ran it over my lips, which were moist due to the shower I had just gotten out of. I rubbed off the little yellow pustules.. or w/e they are called and had little sores left from where they were gone. I put hydrogen peroxide and alcohol on it (alchol will burn it like a mother...be warned) and now it is healing up quite nicely. Remember don't be rough with it, gently peel off the dead skin. HTH

What I am doing to get rid of mine

Went to the store and got some isopropyl alcohol, hydrogen peroxide and l-lysine 500mg caps. Soon as I got home I iced it for 20 mins+ (as long as I could until ice melted), then applied alcohol and hydrogen peroxide frequently throughout the day. Took 2 500mg caps spaced out over the day. Next day it was starting to get crusty...so I took a warm shower and when I got out I noticed the yellow blisters had gotten bigger 0.o, but I also noticed a lot of dea

Also.. another home remedy to curing cold sores is to spray a tiny bit of perfume onto your finger and dab it onto the cold sore at any stage.. ( except if it all scabby and icky) then your lip will sting like fuck! but that is the infection being killed off and your cold sore will be gone within 24 hrs.. If the cold sore if at the later stage then this method should be repeated until there is no more stinging sensation when perfume is applied.

I have done this many times and it never fails. :)

I think angular cheilitis normally occurs in the corner of your mouth whereas cold sores appear anywhere. Maybe try taking a mutlivitamin as angular cheilitis can be a sign of mineral deficiency.
