did you used emanage to tune? seems that VTEC noise appear after 5000rpm... stock R18 VTEC you never can hear... and works between 2500 to 3500rpm... but emanage enables you to change VTEC shift point.. did you changed VTEC shift point? How many HP your car have? I also have an R18 turbo..
