  • your Present Pesident Idiot is the most failed ever.

If he is not impeached and he and Chaney not locked up, Your Generation will be histories biggest laugh ever.

  • President Carter was one of the best US presidents of all time.

  • That's it, I'm voting for Carter...and Kennedy...

  • lol, the only people who consider Reagan a great president are republicans, go figure

  • Jimmy Who?

  • I never saw more amateur historians in my life. Every comment has an incorrect fact or a statement based on emotion. Go America. Idiots. And yeah- I am an AM- UR- RI -KIN.

  • That's what America likes, stupid presidents. It makes them feel smart.

  • Interesting. Before Reagan trounced Carter in 1980, Carter was running ads claiming that Reagan "shoots from the hip". Well, Reagan is going down in history as one of our greatest presidents, and Carter, one of the worst. Maybe the "cowboy" reputation isn't such a bad thing... just a thought!

  • Ha ha ha - all lies! Way to go Jimmy, you really balanced that budget and got a firm handle on inflation during your term. Love the anti-Kennedy ad - lol.

  • Jimmah was an embarrassment than & he is an embarrassment now. How sad that Billy was the smart one of the family.

  • Cater got Pwned. Reagan was the man and still is to this day.

  • Back in the day, what Carter hoped for in those ads was not good for America until Reagan took over and made the USA rich.

  • Carter talks about the economy. When he entered office unemployment was low, interest rates were low and inflation was low. For those who were not here, when he left office the prime rate was about 20%, unemployment was near 10% as was inflation. Carter never apologized.

  • I hate to burst your bubble because I am no fan of Jimmy Carter, but the unemployment rate was 7.5% (trending down) when he started and it was 7.5% (trending up) when he left. The highest unemployment rate was during Reagan's first term. As Patrick Moynihan used to say, you are entitled to your own opinion, but you are not entited to your own facts.

  • The American people fired President Carter by a landslide in 1980. It's just a shame this damageing man didn't take the hint and drop out of sight. He's much better at hammering nails then he ever was as a president or peanut farmer--two things he was an utter failure at. How it is he won a Nobel Peace prize after the way he sided up with brutal dictators remains a mystery.

  • And Jimmy "Peanut" Carter failed America. Democrat voters will vote for a pretty face first then look at that person qualifications later. That's why the kooks run on the democrat ticket.

  • Great ad Carter. I remember the lines at gas stations, high interests rates, hostages in Iran. Thank God for Reagan, and the way he shot from the hip...

  • Loser.

  • Carter, the President who gave us that new phenomenon, "stagflation," gave away the Panama Canal, let the Ayatollah Khomeini take leadership in Iran (launching Islamic terrorism), and was shocked that the USSR would ever invade Afghanistan. What a naive doofus! And as an ex-president, he has praised Fidel Castro, Kim Il Jong of Korea, Chavez of Venezuela, and seemingly every other Commmunist dictator in the world, while at the same time continually criticizing the USA. What a pathetic person!

  • Stagflation was the results of Keynesian economics, which is where Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford hung their hats. Staglation first started to appear in 1975 when the unemployment rate grew to over 8% and inflation was over 10%. It got worse under Carter, but it was the consensus economic philoshophy that was the problem.
