this is a classic video of gothic bellydance. I watch it over and over all the time. I use it as an example of gothic bellydance to my students. Sashi is just a masterpiece of art, and talent. You should stick out your butt a little less, relax your hips a bit and make smaller, tighter moves, and you should also move your neck, chest and head a little more.

Also avoid the spread legs pelvic stirring (it's a bit gross :/) and try to put volume in your hair at the back it will look better from the sides.

That's my opinion anyway :D

I don't see how that contradicts anything I said.

I may have been a bit critical on that day, but I do find a bit off-putting that tendency to overlook to need 4 restraint in pelvic/ hip/ leg movements. Puts me off all the more that the rest of the dance was good n it makes me fearful of getting too deep into the dances I'm watching.

A lot of dancers are ruining the feeling because of that and I thought someone might say it.

The hair is THAT other detail that stops the whole thing being perfect.

She is dancing at Gothla so what she is wearing is highly appropriate, as for her technique, I have been trying to get bigger movements with my hips for 2 years, what you are saying goes against all the dance teachers I have studied with so far.
