i did platinum times in arcade ,story mode and i have beat oxide in each track in time trial. never unlocked oxide.

I've beaten the entire game 100% all ctr tokens all the relics all the best times on all of the tracks. you do NOT UNLOCK OXIDE. the only way to get him is with a game shark

@yoyogamer1 Unfortunately, this is incorrect. People have confirmed that Oxide CAN'T be unlocked in the game, regardless if you beat his times and get everything. Some people have said that you get Penta if you beat Oxide's times, while others claimed that they've beaten his times, but didn't get him. The only way to get him is via Gameshark.

I'm quite surprised that rumor is STILL floating around. It's like that blasted Luigi/Waluigi rumor in SM64/SM64DS.

@Daluigi207 Wrong? I've done it? Trust me lol just because you've been on some random forum or some shit and some people said that doesn't mean it's true. Go confirm it yourself before you reply.

@yoyogamer1 I have. I've watched Bizkit's video showing that he's beaten all of Oxide's times and he hasn't gotten him. I would do it myself, but Oxide's ghost are hard, I must admit. Of course, I would be willing to believe you if you record yourself playing as Oxide. However, you HAVE to show yourself selecting him at the character select screen, and you can't use an emulator.

Could you do that? If you can prove that Oxide is playable, then I'll...Hmm...What WILL I do?

even though you dont unlock Oxide after beating all his ghosts....its still a great accomplishment to actually beat 'em all :P Means yew epicly pwn at this game

Bluesnookerball you can only unlock Oxide with with a cheating device like Gameshark or Action Replay beating all his time trial ghosts only unlocks a Scrapbook in the Main Menu

Complete adventure mode with all platinum relics, next defeat all n. trophys ghost cars in time trial tracks in order starting with crash cove first do not proceed to defeat oxides ghost. next defeat all of oxides ghosts in time trial tracks in order starting with crash cove first. then at the main title screen hold L1 + R1 and press Right, Circle, Triangle, Left, Down, Circle, Triangle, and Left . Oxide will now be on character select screen. scroll down to 2nd screen.
