Ohhh, actually the model looks better now that I've seen more of it. It seems only his forehead looks weird but it's not gonna be a big focus when seeing his whole body in motion with the voice which isn't as good as it was before in some lines but is still pretty cool that it's Jaleel himself! And it seems to fit the model and action somehow.
Also, this is definately gonna look as real or more real than the MegaMan film. O:

Why are people saying "He's still got it"? It's not really like he can just LOSE the voice!
At the same time, the voice wasn't that great in the teaser. I'm not complaining, it just didn't sound like Sonic. His voice crackled more than in Sonic Underground.
I also didn't like the texture on the model. His puples were tiny and his irises glowed. It was just creepy and NOT realistic. But most of all his fur stuck straight out. Sonic HAS fur but it slicks back due to speed... even dogs' do...
@Axxidous Now that I've listed the cons to the teaser, here's the pros.
Jaleel voicing Sonic IS still pretty cool though and maybe he'll sound good later in the film. It was cool hearing him say "Eggman" instead of "Robotnik" for the first time. Why? Because Eggman is currently used most in the games and is his actual first created name. Usually people like the original better... it's hypocritical to insult fans who were introduced through SA2 or Heroes then. lol

first off thats the orignal voice of sonic! the trailer was great im a die hard sonic fan saw the trailer and had a huuge smile on my face! i thought it was perfect... the model was great considering they arent a huuge Hollywood crew making the model im inpressed esspecially since ive made modles myself thats amazing

Yeah, I know he's the original voice of Sonic in the cartoons, which is why I kinda didn't like this voice. He can do better but didn't. But it's just the teaser. Maybe the crackling and hoarse throat sound will vanish in the actual movie. Sorry, but I'm not gonna claim he did a good just here just because it's him again, tho that alone is neat.

@lpfan9976 Here's the thing, with a fanfilm like this there's a budget so they can make a decent model. It's not the model I didn't like, it was the style of the fur. That has nothing to do with them being professional or not, that was a choice done on purpose to make him look real but it'd be better if it laid a little more flat. It'd still show he has fur but it'd look MORE real and more like how Sonic's fur actually is.
Besides didn't ya hear him tell us to give constructive criticism? ._.
Yo Eddie is Sonic the only CG animal character or are you gonna have Tails and the others too? And I don't want anything big spoiled for me, but I've been wondering....something that I havent seen anyone else ask you about this but will there be Rings in the movie, in any way, shape or form, serving of any purpose. If you can answer without revealing anything too big PLEASE do it
