Hold up, while Dave Mustaine was in the band he came to band practice and poured beer down Ron McGoveny's bass, the bassist BEFORE Cliff Burton. thats what got Dave got kicked out of Metallica for Alcohol abuse. Kirk eventually replaced Dave, Ron quit, Cliff died in the 1986 bus crash in Sweden, Jason Newsted replaced Cliff in 1986, In 1992 James Hetfield(rythym guitar,vocals) was in that pyrotechnic incident in Montreal, and in 2001 maybe 2000, Jason quit. Lots of stuff hapened to Metallica.
