  • @89Blu Can you do better? :P I think this is great! How long did you used Reason when you made this song?

  • @6196Ruben Yh i cud i've been using reason for 7 years now u jon...dis isnt even hard this guy himself will tell u that

  • @89Blu Feel free to disagree, as I'm saying from personal experience--remakes is one of those things that's impossibly hard to many people simply because they haven't had the opportunity to develop an intuition for musical sound. For those who have, say, perfect pitch, these remakes will be easy because you don't need to struggle past the very frustrating hurdle of finding the right chords, for example.

  • @89Blu For me, I know exactly what sounds I want, so the real work is really just spending the time experimenting with the knobs and dials to get the sound I know I want. For others who haven't had as much exposure, they have a lot more obstacles to worry about, and they don't yet have the fine-tuned judgment as to what tweaking a particular sound needs. Still, I will bet you that those producers can describe HOW Reason's features actually work much better than I can.

  • def the best remake of in da club in here! good work man!

  • legit shit man!!

  • midi!!!

  • and u got the diffrent layers too. i still cant pinpoint it exactly but tehres just SOMETHING that gives this a lot of bounce just like the original

  • @arthurmtory

    It's the strings

  • @RixerisHere o yea I just realized...he actually has harmony in the strings. how do u know what the harmony should be? do u just experiment? or u just.....know? lol

  • @arthurmtory In short, you just "know". A good intuition of harmony is needed to begin with, but as well I needed to mentally "isolate" individual pitches from the total sound. You can then hear if you should, say, omit a V or III key in a given chord even though both would sound consonant. It's hard for me to explain, but I hope that makes sense. Pretty much all other tutorial videos I've seen have the strings playing mere octaves (which is understandable). Harmony is *essential*, though.

  • man, this is legit ....way better than all the others out there!

  • awesome
