@motornade The risers are the stock risers BUT, they've got riser extenstions on them. About 1.5" lifts are on the bottom of the stock risers which bring the bar up just high enough to clear the tank. Without them the controls hit the tank on full lock turns. They don't pull the bar back any further than stock though.
Thanks for the compliments on the bike. It's all in pieces now and off to the painters for a full custom paint job. Next video should show quite a change.
@2fej It's a pre-order 2010 (I got it in June of 2009 as one of the first bikes delivered in the US) but they are basically unchanged from introduction till now. The handlebars are not stock. The bike comes with a standard pullback bar. The drag bar swap suits me much better though.
@Cragar007 British Customs Hog Slayer pipes. They do away with the cat as well as provide a more open pipe. Still quite at idle but barks nicely under load.
That's a beautiful bike with very very cool mods! I'm thinking of getting the same bike and wondering about the rear fender - am I the only one finding its position weird? It looks like someone has lifted it up from behind and left it "tilted".. Is it possible to lower its back-end so that it's in parallel with ground? What do you think?
@MikaJuP - Some folks think the rear fender looks a bit 'sprung' and you can put on shorter shocks to pull it down but you will lose some ground clearance. Since the bird is such a great handling bike it would be a shame to loose that. Also, once you sit on the bike it does level out some as well so it wouldn't be so pronounced. It all depends on what your personal focus with the bike is.
Thanks for the compliments. The badge isn't actually painted, it's an applied badge I modified one from the RIII roadster. The bars are a simple broomstick drag bar, no bends just a straight bar, can't recall off hand where I got them though.
Very nice. love the Triumph painted on the tank instead of the badges. love the bars also, where did you get them from and what are they called? I think the white suits the bike and makes it unique well done mate.
Nice bike, are the risers under the handlebar original or is it a type riser that moves the bar backwards?

Loving the bars - that's what I wish they'd put on the Storm - which I'm picking up from my dealer in a couple of weeks!
