I have an old Studio 92 KTU mix by TED CURRIER where he blends 'BETTER DO IT SALSA' into 'THIS TIME BABY' by Jackie Moore..It sends chills every time I hear it !!!!!

Puchie it's cool to see that someone still has & recalls old 92ktu music. Paco & the crew with sunday afternoon mixes. I would stay inside just to tape songs/mixes. Wish I had those old tapes. I have a few friends in the bronx who have tons of old school shit & still mix classic sounds.

I am Puerto Rican and let me tell you salsa as a definition is a commercial tag for Afro-Cuban rhythms !There is a history dating back to 1930s in Cuba where the word salsa is used to encourage the band members into locking in the rhythm during a song's MONTUNO! It is Cuban in origin..make no mistake about it.
