I think I know the shortest, if not, cheapest runway in the world. Try Lakeside airport in Holt, Michigan. Come back and thumbs up if you tried it and have opinions of yourself for that runway.

@JayLoGriffin there is no actually ILS in any of the runways at TNCM (Princess Juliana Intl) it is a visual approaches airport

you've done that, I know for sure you will stop before the runway ends...

@MegaGansta24 try landing at about 180 to 160 knots, your nose will be a up a bit yes, but when you flare youll be all the way down to 140 knots and spoilers ( the / key), flaps (f6 anf f7) and reverse thrusters (hold in f2) should take care of the rest, of you need a bit of help tap the brakes (period) a few times but never hold them in... hope that helped

you started your flare way to early. your going to want to flare with your noes at about a 10 degree pitch then once you get to around 100 feet you should pull up the nose to somewhere around 15 degrees

they say your not supposed to flare on approach.. but in aircraft such as the 767, 777 and 747 you have no choice.. your going so slow for landing if you put the nose down your gonna descend to much and miss the runway.

not a bad landing very good, as your plane is slowing down about 5-10 secs before it stops bring your throttle to about 10% that will automaticly stop your reverse thrusters and you can taxi, so you dont have to come to a full stop on the runway try it out

THESE TIPS ARE FOR wii forever some tips to land are when you are about 15 ft off the runway start to raise the nose 5 degrees nose up attitude. Another useful thing is to aim the airplane where you want to land. When trying to line up look at the end of the runway, not the begining of the landing strip

1:come in slow, if you come in at like 220 or 200 knots, your way to fast and if you need to make a last minute adjustment, youll be going too fast to do so.

2:most airports have glideslope indicators such as a PAPI, VASI, or multi colored VASI, which is the slope you fly to the runway to land on TDZ and clear obstacles (Perfect App. = 2 white 2 red)

3:shoot the approach in spot plane and work your way to cockpit, thats how I did it and now I have my license:)

i love TNCM, its got a very nice approach with no obsatcles - but the runways is very short and if you not quick enough on that reverse thrust you end up right at the end of the tarmac, especially in 747s. I love visual landings too there much more fun but i find my self drifting out of line with the runway as i concentrate too much on speed and hight! its hillarious reaching 1000ft and realising your not inline! any tips anyone?

If you cant find landing strips use the GPS! (Shift+3 on most planes) You can also set out routes there. Theres a small tutorial in the fsx menu.

go onto map and change the location of your plane, so take off get some height then drag it back and land. also, save good approaches and do them over and over.
