You are as a listener fully part of the theme; because you are constantly hearing the sounds of the orchestra panned from left to right/right to left and between. Bloody Incredible GENIUS!!!!
Thanks for uploading this - I love this music. To be more accurate, this piece should be described as being from the music score if it is from the Varese Sarabande release, as it is not the original soundtrack from the film.
can't say i think this recording is nearly as good as the original film recording. search 'title sequence North by Northwest' and you'll hear the best recording
