Hey dingleberry you need to consider something called smoke volume-1 puff from the hookah equates to 500 ml of smoke while one drag of a cigarette equates to 50 ml of smoke-So, while the amount of nicotine and other carcinogens may seem small in hookah tobacco, the actual amount consumed is significant because of the amount of smoke inhaled. Also, of course tar isn't listed as an active ingredient because it is the byproduct or residue from burning the tobacco.

Since shisha smokers smoke fort way longer sometimes 60 min. They inhale about 50-150 litres of smoke, one cig contains about 0.7 litres of smoke. And yes the chemicals are still present in shisha, it's a lot worse, it's ok to do once in a while.

Any kind of smoke from organic or synthetic material will have cancer-causing carcinogenics. True that a hookah will filter out most carcinogens, but it still puts you at risk of cancer, especially for tobacco. Weed has much less carcinogens filtered than tobacco filtered.

4000 times better actually. (4000+ chemicals in cigarettes that aren't in tobacco. Also I actually just got a little hookah today with some blueberry flavored stuff and i gotta just say I am loving it. Its great tasting which helps with the kottonmouth if your smoking some fine herbal along with it ;D.

Any kind of smoke from organic or synthetic material will have cancer-causing carcinogenics. True that a hookah will filter out most carcinogens, but it still puts you at risk of cancer, especially for tobacco. Weed has much less carcinogens filtered than tobacco filtered.

yeah man, i dont really mind smokers (excluding obnoxious ones). I dont smoke because, honestly, my lungs cant handle smoke. im a sufferer of cronic bronchitis ): and smoke, even second hand, sends me into an attack. i just dont how people become "potheads" of sorts. by that i mean people who become fixated on smoking all the time. i have lost many friends to this and i wish people could just smoke and not let it affect their lives.
