Why didn't you pressure wash those rocks? Strong concrete, but weak bond is just as bad as weak concrete. I think you didn't wash them because they looks dirty. At least scratch them with metal brush and just pour water over it. What do you think?
@hovh03 yes i washed the rocks with a brush and bucket of water, but very good point and i will make a note of it in the video ( to always wash the rocks before placement with cement ).

Cheers for your little tutorial fella, you cover a lot of important bits and your steps are easy to follow. It's hard to find information like this on youtube because I guess, the majority of people into more practical / traditional skills aren't so good on computers.

@vinamel97 it acts as a plasticiser ( helps it stick and stay ) it doesn't fall off a vertical surface as easily

you should ware a mask and goggles when working with lime! that stuff will feck you up..
