I spent part of my Honeymoon in the Chatanooga area and remember going up to Point Park and seeing the beautiful scenery. Now I'd like to go back there to fish. Love these old Bassmaster shows. So much better then, IMHO.
@monkeylovedump So true what happened to having fun..people are all stuck up and angry today..everyone has an ego and attitude,,its all stupid reality shows now....80's was a fun time
The book "Bass Wars" by Nick Taylor is based on the 1986 pro bass tour and culminates with this tournament. It's a great book with tons of behind-the-scenes stuff about the fishermen and their cross country trek to become the next big thing in bass fishing. I recommend it!
I grew up on Lake Chickamauga and my dad has lake front property there. I hope BASS visits there again since the milfoil kill off BASS has not been back since. The fishing has gotten better though, I live in Central Florida now and fish Harris, St.Johns, Kissimmee/Toho, The Big "O" and Seminole. Plus hundreds of other lakes here, I can say it isn't full of 10 plus pounders, but it does have a lot of 6-7-8 and 9s though.
i live in central florida as well, and are you kidding me? toho (both east and west lake) are filled with 10+ lbers. i havnt caught any, but ive seen many pics of them.
st johns and harris though dont have many tens at all
