@stralisXFT These days it has a full Nizpro stage 2 kit with an FG bottom end, rods, pistons, surge tank, 3.5" full exhaust ect. Auto is about to be rebuilt then a huge turbo. He might buy himself a T51R for Christmas lol

@wreckage06 Go and ask your old man if he has a dyno sheet from his car. You'd need a supercharger or turbo/twin turbo to get that sort of power unless it's a fully built NA big block chev. there are some pretty damn powerful f6's out there but for a die hard nissan supporter there is nothing more supreme than a worked r32 gtr. they are built for the track, not a family :)

if your not sure about the quality or the life span of the turbo in the fpv ask around man go to some dealerships or something but yeh im not real sure and i don't think anyone on utube has real facts rather than opinions
im pretty sure the turbo kicks in at the start though, from what iv seen cuz the 0-100 in the fpv is 5.2,5.4 (depending on model) while the commy is 5.0, 5.2, 5.7. so around the same. but all f6 have 15 more torque. so better :)
@razehey the f6 is quicker to 60 than the hsv and also maximum torque comes in at 1850 rpm lol thats a flat torque range aswell 565 nm of torque available from just 1850 rpm!
The Inline 6 is an amazingly powerful and potentially beast of an engine when tuned and modded appropriately and professionally. Also if you plan on leaving it stock you'll have no problems. Inline engines are known for having less problems especially when untouched.
I'd prob say R8 for now, but then again, you must take into consideration that the
F6 is the last inline 6 engine made in australia, and it may even be the last version of the falcon, so that may help to keep the resale value up and in future years may become a "cult" car....
F6 due to power upgrades... the better balance and steering and resale value. Someone will always want it at a later date for a drag or track car. All HSV suffer resale problems, a 5 yr old hsv with 80k on the clock is worth nothing these days. And i came up witha cracker no offence H omo's and S heila's Vehicles lol ;)
15nm torque wouldn't make much difference statistic wise its more about the feel, i personally in the falcons i have driven they all feel to have more torque because you put your foot down and they go hard whereas in a commodore you put your foot down and they just rev hard.
i would buy the clubsport because of the interior, and because Holden have done extremely well with the latest model.
also don't forget with money commy will chew the petrol more tho

i got a f6 typhoon ute, i paid 61k for it brand new, so far ive put: new titanium ballbaring turbo plus HKS BOV, extractors and a performance exhaust system on it. soon as i click in to 3rd and sit on 3000rpm+ it sounds like a jet mate, music to my ears. abit like yours, just more high pitch

with the BA the oil pump in the gearbox tends to shit its self quite alot, not very cheap to fix
the BF's have AU oilpumps allready in them there for alot stronger, but have another fault i think its with 1 of the pullys but its not as expensive and ALOT easier to fix

Turbo 6's will always beat 8's. The F6 has a lot more potential also. 8's will usually win off the line but not by much anyway once they get going the turbo 6 will just gain speed quicker.

If you're saying it should be stock block to stock block, then you're still looking at two extra cylinders and more overall displacement, and you're saying THAT is a good measure? Hey Jimsa84, I have noticed that the cameras in the tunnel haven't moved from the R20 mark for some time, I think they only move them on a monthly basis. That being said you are right, they stick out like dogs balls. Anyway, cameras or not flooring the F6 in the tunnel and getting the exhaust echo sound is awesome :)
Yeah it improved heaps. Went from 13.9 to 11.2L/100k, mind you I do a lot of freeway driving, but it still went down a lot. When I did laps at Sandown I got 136kms out of a whole tank LOL so when you cain it, you get no economy!
WOW!!!!!!!! 136...and i was complaining about getting 377 out of a tank around town. Highway I get 9.8 on average and around town its more like 16 or so and mines stock.
Well if you spend $600 on a Capa flash box and another $500-$600 on a custom tune, you'll get more power and much, much better fuel economy. I rarely get less than 500ks a tank with around 440kw, as opposed to 270kw.
Awesome, yeh I've been eyeing off a Capa flash tuner for a while now I can pick one up for $495 brand new, however I was under the impression they came with pre-loaded generic tunes which would improve power by about 50RWKW and that you could re-write that with a custom tune if you wanted to?

You can set it to flash red as a warning. I had it set to about 18psi and because I hadn't done a wastegate port the boost was spiking.

i got a f6 typhoon ute, i paid 61k for it brand new, so far ive put: new titanium ballbaring turbo plus HKS BOV, extractors and a performance exhaust system on it. soon as i click in to 3rd and sit on 3000rpm+ it sounds like a jet mate, music to my ears. abit like yours, just more high pitch

oi hoff machine there is a BIG difference
with the BA the oil pump in the gearbox tends to shit its self quite alot, not very cheap to fix
the BF's have AU oilpumps allready in them there for alot stronger, but have another fault i think its with 1 of the pullys but its not as expensive and ALOT easier to fix
btw hahaha funny games :D i want an F6 now i didnt like them but there okay, old lumpy V8's are still better by far

Turbo 6's will always beat 8's. The F6 has a lot more potential also. 8's will usually win off the line but not by much anyway once they get going the turbo 6 will just gain speed quicker.

If you're saying it should be stock block to stock block, then you're still looking at two extra cylinders and more overall displacement, and you're saying THAT is a good measure? Hey Jimsa84, I have noticed that the cameras in the tunnel haven't moved from the R20 mark for some time, I think they only move them on a monthly basis. That being said you are right, they stick out like dogs balls. Anyway, cameras or not flooring the F6 in the tunnel and getting the exhaust echo sound is awesome :)

Guys, I have located the speed cameras in the east link tunnel.
The cameras heading out of the city sit between the signs R19 & R20 in the tunnel.
They look like box subwoofer boxes (Black in colour) on the roof.
I will add the city bound locsations on tomorrow night.
There are only one set of cameras each way in the tunnels.

When you tuned did you notice fuel economy improve, mines shit as around town, like 16.6 Litres per 100k's

Yeah it improved heaps. Went from 13.9 to 11.2L/100k, mind you I do a lot of freeway driving, but it still went down a lot. When I did laps at Sandown I got 136kms out of a whole tank LOL so when you cain it, you get no economy!

Well if you spend $600 on a Capa flash box and another $500-$600 on a custom tune, you'll get more power and much, much better fuel economy. I rarely get less than 500ks a tank with around 440kw, as opposed to 270kw.

Awesome, yeh I've been eyeing off a Capa flash tuner for a while now I can pick one up for $495 brand new, however I was under the impression they came with pre-loaded generic tunes which would improve power by about 50RWKW and that you could re-write that with a custom tune if you wanted to?
