My only concern is, if the NIV was translated by well intended men who translated the wrong manuscript, then what business does men who have no knowledge of God's word have in translating God's word. I've been looking for a video like this. I too believe the KJV is the best version for us English speakers. The bible I was originally saved from was NKJV. What scares me is that in some of these new versions, the people who work on them actually don't beleive in Christ and some are even agnostics.

Thank you for the post about the Geneva Bible. If you were to use this Bible, you would also be OK. THe Geneva Bible was translated from the RIGHT manuscript, the Majority Text. This was also called the Pilgrams Bible. Some of the words in the Geneva test are no longer used, it would be your choice to use which one you like. The Geneva Bible is pretty much the same thing as the KJV, just older language from what I understand. Thank you for your comment on the Geneva Bible.

yes, i watched this video and HAD to post it. In the USA KJV 1611 are readily available. Sometimes on the internet I am talking to people in Africa and other countries, I try to tell them to get the best version they can get. It KILLS me when I have to tell them to look for something other then an AV KJV. So many Bible versions, how can people say they are all the word of God if they say different things? In one new version it says a person who is raped has to marry that person. In the KJV it says a couple caught fornicating has to marry.
So here we see how wacky the new version translations can be compared to the original KJV.
