WOW. That's just amazing! I gave up on a spindle the day I first tried it and vowed I'd only spin on a wheel, but I'm really thinking I should try the spindle again. You explained it very clearly and made it look easy. My lonely & abandoned spindle thanks you for giving it another chance :)
This explains everything! I just spun my first skein, and I felt like I didn't do it right. But after watching this, I understand what to do next time! Thank you!
Thank you so much for this! I tried to watch a couple of other videos, but I think yours explained it the best. I think the 'rolling it on the thigh' and then pinching to draft before letting the twist travel helped me understand better.
Wow, this is really an awesome video! I know just how to go about spinning now. My first few attempts kinda sucked. Hehe.. :) Thanks so much for this video!
Thank yo so much for your videos, it really helped SO much to understand the whole process. Your videos are really the clearest and best done of all the ones around !
I'm a spinner and yours is the only video I've seen on spindling that makes sense. YOU talk about what you're doing, demo, tell why, and demo while you show. I think this is a great video for those who want to learn to spin on a spindle. You spin S on the spindle, I spin Z. Park and twist was wonderfully done. Wish we could have a spin in.
That ROCKS!!!! I just found this. OMG, must get roving...NOW. I now know why my previous attempts were miserable failures. I started with too big chunks of roving and I constantly forgot to pinch the yarn off!
Great video! Thanks for uploading :)

I thought my stopping-to-let-the-spin-travel was wrong but I'm wrong! Just technique. <_<

thank you so much, I wont repeat what everyone else said, but I concur 100% What kind of roving are you using and what weight is your spindle?

I'm hoping I can manage it now!
