In 1978 at Ibadan University Nigeria I found an old cassette in a flat among leftovers of an earlier occupant. The plastic cassette was damaged but the tape seemed ok so I swapped the cassette from a demo tape and played the tape. The singer was Carole King but I did not know her at the time. I have had that precious cassette ever since and played it many times. Only recently I found that it was Carole King. Thank you Carole for making life liveable. I will follow you to the end of the world!

Grew up listening to Carole King. My impression of her was the picture of her on the Tapestry Album and sad song like It's too late.Didn't know she was such a bubbly and jovial character until very recently got hold of her live concert DVD.
