Anybody knows if the polar Express comes to 2011? I don't see anything into the website. I sent a email to the seaworld but I have no answer. My 3 boys and me wants to see it. Polar Express like Home Alone is a movie tradition during the holidays :)

Orlando? Really? It would have been way more better and magical if it was located somewhere that was more... Christmas-ey, cold. It's hot in Orlando, they should have done it in Colorado.

Just to let you know. Theme parks here in Orlando can certainly make it feel 'Christmasey' during the HOlidays.

And it is cold here during the winter.

Not really, not when you see people wearing shorts and short sleeve shirts. And guess what? I live in Texas. It's just as hot as Florida if not hotter, so don't talk to me like I don't know what it's like to live down south.

What I was saying is that even though it seems way warmer compared to other states, it still has a Winter-y cold feeling to it.

That's right. I was at Seaworld (Orlando) today and went on it. It is the Wild Arctic ride, which has undergone a rather impressive transformation from beginning to end. The simulator ride, whilst enjoyable, could have been better, but otherwise all was great. A nice big Christmas tree, Santa Claus etc.

Yeah this is a ride at Sea World, it is a seasonal ride though, usually from November 13th through December 31st. This is the Wild Artic ride where you get in a simulator that is supposed to be a helicopter that takes you to the north pole but for the holidays they transform it into the Polar Express Experience and then the simulator is like if you were in the train and when you get off you get to meet Santa and there is a big gorgeous Christmas tree and all the usual animal exhibits.

i went on one in ohio where i live u go on a real trin ride in ur pajamas and u drink hot chocolat and u go over ice like the movie and they sing and dance and give u a ticket and whole punch it it was incredible

It is, very well done though, if someone goes for the first time to this ride they would never imagine that it is different the rest of the year. It looks like if it has always been like that.

It is only December twenty... I forgot, 20 somthing, anyway it is only that date through January 3rd. Other times the ride is the Wild Arctic Helicopter thing, same ride, just different theme.

We have this experience at the Excalibur in Las Vegas each christmas season. 3D with 4D effects, and it snows! It is way cool.

Correct. You can do the motion or just watch the video. But just watching the video would be just like watching part of the movie at home.

The video doesn't show the actual ride for two reasons..

One: They tell you you're not allowed to record during the ride.

Two: The screen just shows clips from the movie. So if you've seen the movie, you've seen the ride. It's a shortened version of the scene where the train goes down the large hill, onto the ice and to Christmas Town.
