@resarf65 Agreed. The only thing that sucked about Sammy was his, often, incredibly bad lyrics. Dave is smarter and funnier, but Sammy is a far better singer.

I heard this mourning show on a rock station in St. Louis back in 2002. Hagar was a guest on the show. The DJ told Sammy he was the American Robert Plant and I agree.

i am a van halen van, i love the dave version, so much better, i think sammy ruined vh, i do give them a try though, i can honestly say, this aint a bad song, i would say, run around, this song, and humans being are the only songs that are worth listening to,

Van Halen is one of my ALL-TIME favorite bands. I love Sammy era as much as Diamond Dave. Hell I'll even throw on VH III and give it a listen every now and then. Can't wait for new VH this fall.

@LesterRienhart Um, that would be impossibel seeing as how the VMA's are televised in September and Thanksgiving is in November. So you may have seen the video clip for this over vacation but it wasn't live.
