@Stryker69PA Dear Stryker....she is about to launch a massive music project and in ALL the TV series and films she was starring in-she sang on MANY of them, from a pop star, country,Jazz, blues, rock n roll, Hungarian Opera singer, metal with Colm Feore, urban, soul, works extensively as a VOICE OVER artist you probably heard her on many mnay commercial campaigns not even knowing it was her...the singing ones were Folgers, Sears, Molson, Spumanti Bambino...the many others her speaking voice;-)

Remember seeing it with the indepenmdant label same as the song from The Extras Can't Stand Still.. She was probably in contract negotiations when the first edition of the Clip came out

I had this video on Beta tape for years and years. I always liked the song and the video concept. What year was this, 1984? The various looks Belinda was able to capture all look really good. I always liked the construction worker persona.

For those of you in Canada, you remember this song as being popular, yes?  It was played on radio, Much Music and CBC's Video Hits alot, so it had to have been a HUGE Top 40 smash right? Yeah, it peaked at #83 in May of 1985. One of the best things about the music scene in Canada: You don't have to be in the Top 40 to have a popular single. Just ask Robbie Robertson and Paul Janz. Great artists with great songs that fell out of the Top 40.
