NOONE has said anything about forcing gay marriage in LDS temples, and churches are a private institution so they couldn't even if they want to. I grew up in the LDS faith, but left, but I still couldn't do those things around them b/c it would be "persecuting their beliefs." I eventually moved to a house with nonLDS roomates.

well you must have had some really mormony roomates because i would have just delt with it and let you do what you wanted and if they would have proved to me that it wouldnt have effected rights to refuse access to those places then i would have been pretty damn neutral on this mater

Actually marriage started out as a man owning multiple women (Abraham), it was also incestuous in the beginning. Men used to buy daughters off of other men and marry them. Women used to be property. Interracial couples couldn't marry.
The modern definition of marriage constitutes 2 people in love. It could be monogamous or non monogamous, with or without kids.
If you would like to go back to traditional marriage, you are going to have to take away women's suffrage.
