And what you all would call SKA is really just punk with horns. You can take most any punk song, change the guitar to "ska" shuffle, add horns, and there's your favorite ska band.

@2tonearmyman87 All I listen to is Jamaican music between 1960 and 1981 and British Reggae from 1975 to now (Steel Pulse and Aswad), Desmond Dekker only made a handful of Ska songs he's really a Reggae artist (Shanty Town and Israelites are technically Reggae) . Try listening to ALL of his music and not just "Get Up Edina" and "King Of Ska". Now Ska Punk is a sub genre of punk (it's a Ska REVIVAL) you will never find OP IVY and NO CASH next to a Dr. Ring Ding or Toasters album in a record shop.
